Who We Are

Jaapak is a free japa counter app built by Satish Sahu. This privacy policy explains how we handle data from users of the Jaapak app and jaapak.com website.

What Data We Collect

Jaapak App: Your japa data (counts, malas, settings) is stored locally on your device. If you enable Google Drive backup, your data is saved to your own Google Drive account — not our servers.

Google Sign-In: If you use Google Drive backup, we receive your name and email through Google Sign-In. This is used only for backup/restore functionality.

Website: jaapak.com does not collect any personal data. No sign-up, no tracking cookies (except a language preference cookie).

Analytics: We may use basic analytics (page views, country) to understand website performance. No personal identification is made.

Advertising

The Jaapak app may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob uses its own cookies and identifiers. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

The website may also display Google AdSense ads, which follow Google's ad personalization policies.

Data Security

Your japa data remains in encrypted storage (SharedPreferences) on your device. Google Drive backup uses Google's security infrastructure. We have no access to your backup data.

• Google AdSense — for website advertising

Children's Privacy

Jaapak does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us.

Your Rights

You can delete your data at any time — uninstall the app or delete the backup file from Google Drive. The website has no accounts, so there is nothing to delete.
