Mandir koi imaarat nahi jahan hum jaate hain. Ye is duniya mein rakha hua aadhyatmik duniya ka ek tukda hai, aur arati sirf deepak ghumaane ki rasm nahi. Thali ki har cheez hamare shareer ka ek tatva Bhagwan ko laut deti hai. Mandir ko aadhyatmik duniya ka doot-ghar kyun kehte hain?
Ek doot-ghar (embassy) socho. Bharat ka London mein ek doot-ghar hai, aur jis pal aap uske darwaze se andar jaate ho, aap ab British zameen par nahi khade. Aap Bharatiya bhoomi par ho, Bharatiya kaanoon ke andar. Andar ke adhikaari sthaaniya niyamon ke adheen nahi, un parking aur speeding ke chaalaanon se bhi mukt jo baaki sab ko bharne padte hain, aur unki chhuttiyaan tak unke apne desh ke calendar se chalti hain. Mandir bilkul aise hi kaam karta hai. Ye material duniya mein roopa hua aadhyatmik duniya ka doot-ghar hai, aur jab aap uske andar ho, aap is duniya mein ho hi nahi.
Seema gate nahi hai. Seema aapki chetna hai. Jab aap abhi raaste par hi ho, agar aapka mann bhakti mein mandir ki taraf jhuka hai, toh aap pehle hi paar kar ke aadhyatmik duniya mein kadam rakh chuke ho. Isi liye jis bhaav mein hum jaate hain woh utna hi maayne rakhta hai jitna khud darshan.
Mandir kaise jaana chahiye?
Bhakti-bhare hriday se jaao. Agar koi kharaab mood aap par sawaar hai, toh use neeche rakho aur pahunchne se pehle achhe mood mein aa jaao. Kuch andar ke bhaav poore approach ko sambhaalte hain.
- Bhaagyashaali mehsoos karo. Mandir jaana koi chhoti baat nahi. Ye bahut badi baat hai, aur hum bhaagyashaali hain ki hamein anumati mili.
- Anadhikari mehsoos karo. Mera andar jaane ka koi asli haq nahi. Sirf Bhagwan aur unke bhakton ki kripa hai jo mujhe andar aane deti hai.
- Kritagya mehsoos karo. Un sab ka aabhaar maano jinhone ye darshan sambhav banaaya, woh maa-baap jinhone aapko paala, woh bhakt jinhone aapko nyota diya, aur woh bhakt jinki mehnat se mandir bana aur chalta hai. Ve sammaan ke laayak hain.
- Mahima gaao aur dhyaan dharo. Bhagwan ke charan-kamal ki mahima gaao, unke roop aur leela par dhyaan dharo, aur Bhagwan aur unki sangini ki sundarta ko nihaaro.
- Sirf Krishna-katha karo. Mandir gap-shap ya rajneeti ki jagah nahi. Wahan rehte hue sirf Bhagwan ki baat karo.
- Jhuko. Jis pal mandir nazar aaye, aur phir jab Bhagwan ke charan dikhein, apne pranaam arpit karo.
Mandir ke andar ki etiquette kya hai?
Baahari riwaaz sab ek andaruni arth rakhte hain. Inmein se koi khaali nahi.
Gate par ruko. Hindu pravesh-dwaar ke baahar ruk kar, andar jaane se pehle haath sir ke upar utha kar prarthana karte hain.
Joote utaaro. Ye galiyon ki gandagi ko baahar rokta hai, aur kisi gehri baat ki taraf ishaara karta hai. Is parampara mein paair pavitra hain, kyunki hum Bhagwan ke charan-kamal chhoote hain aur ashirvaad lene ke liye apne paair ke peechhe chhoote hain, aur joote wahi ek cheez hain jise hum chhoo nahi sakte. Yahi aadat ghar par bhi rakhne layak hai, kyunki hum jitni gandagi par chalte hain uska andaaza bhi nahi.
Ghanti bajaao. Pravesh karte hue ghanti bajaana Bhagwan ko, vinamrata se, batata hai ki aap aa gaye. Ye apne aap ka koi zor-shor wala ailaan nahi. Ghanti ki dhwani shubh hai, divya ko bulaati hai aur ashubh ko bhagaati hai.
Guru ko apne daahine, vigrah ko apne baayein jhuko. Pravesh karte hi guru ko apni daahini taraf aur vigrah ko apni baayein taraf pranaam arpit karo. Iska kaaran komal hai. Ek Vaishnav apna hriday Param Bhagwan ko saunpta hai, aur hriday baayein taraf hai, isliye baayein taraf vigrah ki or karne se hriday unki or rehta hai, sirf Bhagwan ko uske beech baitha chaahte hue. Hum ye bhi dhyaan rakhte hain ki apne paair kabhi guru ki taraf, ya Garuda ki taraf na hon, jo aksar mandir ke peechhe Bhagwan ki or mukh kiye khade hote hain. Isi liye poore pranaam saamne se nahi, balki bagal se kiye jaate hain, taaki paair kabhi Garuda ki taraf na ishaara karein.
Poore dandavat arpit karo. Bhagwan ke aage poora let kar, dandavat, ek saath shareer, mann aur atma ka arpan hai.
Pradakshina karo. Vigrah ke chaaron or ghadi ki disha mein chalo, har ek par ruk kar haath chhaati ke saamne jod kar Namaste karo. Apni bhent vigrah ke aage rakho ya sahaayak pujari ko do.
Daahine haath se lo. Pujari aapke haathon par jal daal sakta hai, ek aadhyatmik shuddhi ka bhaav, toh use daalne do. Woh aapko prasad de sakta hai, woh pavitra shaakaahaari bhojan jo pehle vigrah ko arpit hua. Prasad pavitra hai, aur use mandir ke baahar khaaya jaata hai, kyunki parde khule hote samay vigrah ke saamne khaana theek nahi. Pujari jo bhi de, aur jo bhi aap dein, sirf daahine haath se. Baayein haath ko ashuddh aur daahine ko shuddh maana jaata hai.
Aadar se kapde pehno. Mandir mein achhe aur shaaleen kapde pehan kar aao, na ki shorts ya hot-pants mein, mahilaayein aksar sari ya rang-birange kapdon mein. Dhyaan se kapde pehnna khud Bhagwan ko prasann karne ka ek tareeka hai.
Arati kya hai, aur hum ise kyun arpit karte hain?
Mandir mein aratiyan aksar pujari karte hain, isliye wahan hamein mauka na mile. Ghar par ispe hamara poora haq hai, aur adhiktar bhakt roz Bhagwan ko kisi na kisi roop mein arati arpit karte hain.
Yahi iska saar hai. Arati mein hum Bhagwan ka uss sab ke liye aabhaar maante hain jo unhone diya, aur har cheez un tatvon mein se ek se mel khaati hai jinse hamara shareer bana hai. Shareer ki do parten hain. Sthool shareer paanch mahaan tatvon se bana hai, prithvi, jal, agni, vayu, aur akash. Sookshma shareer mann, buddhi aur ahankaar se bana hai. Ek poori arati ye saaron aath Bhagwan ko laut deti hai, hamara poora swaroop, maano ye keh rahi ho: is duniya aur is shareer mein jeene ki suvidha ke liye dhanyavaad, aur ab main ye shareer aapko arpit karta hoon, toh aap aaiye aur ismein mere saath rahiye, taaki main aapki seva kar sakoon.
Cheezein kaise arpit ki jaati hain, iske reference Narada Pancharatra se aate hain, ek shastra jo khaaskar vigrah-pooja ke liye diya gaya. Aage jo hai woh Gaudiya parampara ka tareeka hai, aur doosre mandiron mein vivaran alag ho sakte hain.
Arati ki har cheez ka kya matlab hai?
Rasm shankh bajaane se shuru hoti hai, jo Bhagwan ko sachet karta hai ki arati shuru hone wali hai aur bhakton ko bulaata hai ki aakar dekhein. Phir har cheez arpit ki jaati hai, aur har ek ek tatva ka pratik hai.

Inmein se kuch par thoda gehra dekhna chahiye. Shankh mein rakha jal bahut pavitra maana jaata hai, aur Bhagwan ke chaaron or arpit hone ke baad thoda wapas paatr mein daala jaata hai aur phir sab par chhidka jaata hai. Jo bhi mandir gaya hai usne arati ke ant mein shankh se phenke gaye un asar-bhare boondon ko mehsoos kiya hai. Bhajan sirf mann tatva nahi hai, kyunki Bhagwan ke naam aur leela gaana gaane wale ko seedhe unse jod deta hai. Iske liye hamein geet ke andar utar jaana chahiye, aur bahut madad milti hai jab hum sirf shabd nahi balki unka arth bhi jaanein, isi liye ek bhajan gaa kar phir uska anuvaad padhna itni achhi aadat hai. Pranaam ahankaar ka arpan hai: "Mere priya Bhagwan, mera jhootha ahankaar le lo aur mera asli ahankaar laut do, jo aapka hai."
Arati kaise arpit hoti hai, aur kitni der?
Har cheez ek khaas tareeke se ghumti hai. Agarbatti Bhagwan ke shareer ke chaaron or saat baar ghumayi jaati hai. Ghee ka deepak paramparagat roop se chaar baar charanon par, do baar naabhi par, teen baar kamar par, aur saat baar poore shareer ke chaaron or arpit hota hai, halaanki saat baar shareer ke chaaron or hi kaafi hai, kyunki Bhagwan jaante hain kya arpit ho raha hai aur peechhe ke prem se prasann hote hain. Jal bhi saat baar ghumaakar arpit hota hai. Chamar aur mor-pankh wala pankha kisi bhi visham (odd) sankhya mein ghumaaya jaata hai. Mor-pankh garmi ka hai aur sardiyon mein rakh diya jaata hai, jab Bhagwan ke liye woh bahut thanda hoga.
Ek aam arati thali mein agarbatti-stand, jal-paatr, ghee-deepak, shankh aur uska stand, achaman-paatr, ghanti, aur phool-paatr hote hain, aur bajaane ke liye ek alag shankh.
Kitni der lagti hai ye ghar par lacheela hai. Koi bhakt poora ek ghanta le sakta hai, bahut dheere arpit karte hue, aur koi paanch minute, aur dono theek hain. Mandir mein arati kahin zyada niyamit hai, jismein poori bhent lagbhag pacchhees minute chalti hai, har roz nishchit samay par. Jahan mandir mein kayi vedi (altar) hon, har ek par ek pujari khada hota hai, sab apne vigrah ko ek hi cheezein ek saath arpit karte hue. Vrindavan mein, jaise, teen vedi hain, Radha-Krishna, Krishna-Balaram, aur Gaura-Nitai, har ek apne pujari ke saath, har arati poore pacchhees minute leti. Arati sirf mukhya vigrah ko nahi balki vedi par sthit gurus aur bhakton ko bhi arpit hoti hai, jo ek wajah hai ki ye lambi ho sakti hai.
Ghar ki vedi par kya hota hai?
Ghar ki vedi par kaafi kuch ho sakta hai. Krishna aur Balaram ke vigrahon ke saath, ek parivaar Gandaki nadi ka ek Shaligram shila rakh sakta hai, jise seedhe Bhagwan Vishnu maana jaata hai. Ye ek wajah se maayne rakhta hai jaanne layak. Jab mandir marble ya dhaatu ke vigrah sthaapit karta hai, toh Bhagwan ki upasthiti ko us roop mein bulaane ke liye ek rasm hoti hai jise prana-pratishtha kehte hain. Shaligram ko aisi koi rasm nahi chaahiye, kyunki woh pehle se khud Bhagwan hai. Ek Dwarka shila Balaram ke roop mein rakhi jaa sakti hai, saath mein Jagannath, Baladev, aur Subhadra, aur Radha-Gopal, aur ek doosri parat par Tulasi Maharani aur guru-parampara. Pujari agarbatti sirf Bhagwan ko nahi balki gurus aur bhakton ko bhi arpit karta hai. Ek achhi aadat hai vedi ko ghar ke beech mein rakhna, kisi kone-kamre mein nahi, taaki ghar aate hi aap Bhagwan se mile bina na rah sakein.
