Kya Gita 2.48 keh rahi hai ki safalta-asafalta mein udaaseen raho? Zyaadatar log yahi samajhte hain — ki 'udaaseenata' hi 'samata' hai. Par dono alag hain, aur isi fark mein is shlok ki gehraai hai.

योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा धनञ्जय।

सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योः समो भूत्वा समत्वं योग उच्यते

Samatvam Yoga Uchyate ka Arth Kya Hai? (Saral Mein)

Samatvam yoga uchyate. Krishna yahan keh rahe hain ki yoga koi aasan ya dhyan-vidhi nahi hai. Safalta aur asafalta mein mann ko ek jaisa rakhna, phal ki aasakti chhodkar karyarat rehna — yahi yoga hai. Aamtaur par log 'parinam ki chinta na karo' ko udaaseenata samajhte hain. Par samata ka arth hai bheetari sthirta, udaaseenata nahi.

B.R. Chopra ki Mahabharat mein jab Arjun ka rath dono seenaon ke beech khada hota tha, bachpan mein woh drishya aankhon mein atak jaata tha. Krishna ke shabd 'Yogasthah kuru karmani' kab kanthstha ho gaye, yaad nahi. Par tab 'yoga' ka arth 'jod' lagta tha, shayad 'vyayam'. Ki samata hi yoga hai — yeh baat bahut baad mein khuli, jab jeevan mein pehli badi asafalta saamne aayi.

Samatvam Yoga Uchyate ki Gehri Vyakhya

Yogasthah aur Samatvam: Shabdon Mein Chhipa Equation

Sri Krishna yahan ek seedhi-si ghoshana karte hain. "Samatvam yoga uchyate." Matlab samata hi yoga kahlata hai. Yeh koi upama nahi, na koi alankar. Yeh ek seedhi baraabari hai. Ek shabd doosre ka paryaay ban jaata hai.

"Yogasthah" ka wazn bhi isi equation se aata hai. Pehle aap yoga mein sthit hon, phir karm karo. Kram ulta nahi chalega. Karm karte-karte yoga nahi aata. Yoga mein baithkar karm shuru hota hai.

"Sangam tyaktva" mein jo "tyaktva" hai, woh ek purn-rupena beet chuki kriya hai. Arjun ko karm shuru karne se pehle hi aasakti chhod deni hai. Beech mein nahi chhodna, pehle hi chhod aana hai.

Samata yoga ki definition nahi, yoga ka paryaay hai.

Kalpana karo ek sangeetkaar ki. Woh sabha mein raag ga raha hai. Koi shrotha waah kahe, koi chup baitha rahe, koi uthkar chala jaaye. Par uska sur? Woh antar nahi jaanta. Uski taanein sadhi rehti hain, uski saans samaan chalti hai.

Yahi samata hai. Baahir ki hawa kaisi bhi bahe, bheetar ka deepak ek hi lau se jalta hai. Yeh kisi technique se nahi aata, na kisi abhyas ke ant mein milta hai. Yeh woh avastha hai jismein aap sthit hote hain.

Sri Krishna yoga ko yahan koi process nahi bata rahe. Woh usse ek mansik mudra keh rahe hain. Aasan nahi, aaseenata. Sadhana nahi, sadha hona.

Siddhi aur Asiddhi: Beech Mein Nahi, Dono Mein Ek Saath

"Siddhy-asiddhyoh" ek vishesh vyakaran-roop hai. Yeh dwi-vachan mein aur adhikaran-karak mein hai. Iska arth hai: siddhi aur asiddhi, dono ke bheetar. Beech mein nahi. Upar nahi. Dono ke bheetar, ek saath.

Phir aata hai "bhutva." Ho jaane ke baad. Yeh ek poori pehchaan-parivartan ki maang hai. Aapko samaan hona hai, samaan hone ka prayas nahi karna hai. Prayas baahir ka vishay hai, hona bheetar ka.

Kumhaar ka chaak dekho. Kabhi tez ghoomta hai, kabhi dheema pad jaata hai. Kabhi mitti jam jaati hai, kabhi bikhar jaati hai. Par kumhaar ka haath? Woh dono kshanon mein ek hi dridhata se mitti ko thaame rehta hai. Safalta ke kshanh mein bhi usi haath se, vifalta ke kshanh mein bhi usi haath se.

Samaan hona hai, samaan hone ka prayas nahi karna.

Sabse Badi Bhraanti: Yoga Karna vs Yoga Hona

Aaj bahut log yoga ko ek kriya maante hain. Pratahkaal aasan, pranayaam, dhyan. Aadha ghanta, ek ghanta, phir samapt. Iske baad jeevan ka ashant karm-vyavhar shuru.

Par yeh shlok us samajh ko ulat deta hai. Yoga koi "karne" ki cheez nahi hai. Yoga ek "hone" ki avastha hai. Jab aap samata mein sthit hain, tabhi aap yoga mein hain. Jab aap usse baahir gire, tab koi bhi shareerik mudra aapko yogi nahi bana sakti.

Yeh shabd-khel nahi hai. Yeh ek maulik drishti-bhed hai. Yogi woh nahi jo yoga karta hai. Yogi woh hai jo yoga mein hai.

Yoga karne ki cheez nahi, hone ki avastha hai.

Teen Dhaaraayen: Karmayog, Sankhya, Bhakti

Yahi shlok teen darshnik dhaaraon ka sangam hai. Karmayog kehta hai: karm karo, par aasakti chhodo. Sankhya kehta hai: drashta aur drishya ka bhed samjho, phir sukh-dukh apne nahi lagte. Bhakti kehta hai: phal Prabhu ke charno mein rakho, phir haar-jeet aapki rehti hi nahi.

Teeno ka nishkarsh ek hai. Chitt samaan ho. Baahir ka hisaab upar chhod diya jaaye. Bheetar ki shaanti hi asli yoga hai. Aur yahi samata woh manch hai jis par Arjun ko apna karm khada karna hai.

Aaj ke Jeevan Mein

Jis din parinam ummeed se ulat nikle, usi shaam pata chalta hai ki yeh shlok kahan tak utra.

Yogasthah: Sadhana Karna aur Yoga Mein Hona

Is shlok par ek sawaal baar-baar aata hai: agar yoga chitt ki samata hai, to subah ki sadhana (aasan, pranayaam, dhyan) kis kaam ki? Yeh bhram isliye hai kyunki "yoga" shabd ko ek kriya samajh liya jaata hai.

"Yogasthah" ek avastha-visheshann hai, kriya-sangya nahi. Aap yoga karte nahi, yoga mein hote hain. Sadhana us avastha tak pahunchne ka maarg ho sakti hai. Par sadhana hi lakshya nahi.

Fark yeh hai: teen ghante ki baithak mein jo nirnay aapke paksh mein nahi gaya, us shaam aap kis manasthiti mein laute? Agar chitt wahan dagmgaya, to subah ka samay vyayam mein beet tha, yoga mein nahi. Vyayam achha hai. Woh yoga nahi hai.

Lokmanya Tilak ki Mandale Kothari Mein Samatvam Yoga ka Arth

1908 mein British sarkar ne Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak ko Mandale jail bheja. Chhah saal. Us kothari mein unhone Gita Rahasya likha, Karmayog par ek poora granth.

Kaaravas mein samata ka Karmayog

Tilak ka kendreey sawaal tha: agar phal ki chinta chhodna hai, to aazaadi ke liye sangharsh ka arth kya? Unka uttar tha ki phal se virakti aur karm ki dridhata saath-saath chalti hain. Jail ki deewaarein parinam hain. Lekhni chalte rehna: Yogasthah karm hai.

Yeh sawaal aaj bhi zinda hai. Parinam aksar aapke haath mein nahi hote. Samata aur karm, dono aapke haath mein hote hain.

Teen Binduon Mein Dainik Abhyaas

Subah ka Sankalp: Aaj ka karm kya hai? Usse tay karo, parinam ki charcha baad mein.

Din ka Karm: Har nirnay ke baad ek sawaal: yeh karm se aaya, ya bechaini se?

Shaam ki Sameeksha: Aaj jo bhi ummeed se alag hua, us par chitt kaisa raha?

Teesra sawaal poochne ki himmat ho to samata par kaam ho raha hai.

Aapke karm ka sabse sachcha gavah kaun hai — parinam ya woh chitt jisse karm nikla?
